The Anti-Fungal Diet: This

Drugs
Nystatin: Nystatin is a
anti-fungal drugs to treat intestinal yeast overgrowth. This is
available in the form of tablets, powder and liquid oral suspension.
Amphotericin B: This drug is
useful where nystatin fails. The only drawback of this drug is the
cost, it is significantly more expensive than nystatin.
Diflucan (fluconazole): This drug
is usually referred to as systemic anti-fungal drug. This drug found
to be very useful where nystatin and amphotericin have failed.
Sporanox (itraconazole): Sporanox
is one of the newest azole drugs. It is a safe and effective as
Diflucan drug.
Nizoral (ketoconazole): Taking of
this drug have the possibility of liver damage. As a result, patients
might have to undergo regular liver enzyme tests during treatment to
monitor the effects.
